About Simply Splinting

Simply Splinting was founded by two qualified Occupational Therapists with "hands-on" experience working in a specialized hand unit in Gauteng, South Africa. Our passion for hand therapy has continued to grow and develop over many years of working in the government health sector.

We have been planning, brainstorming, researching, learning and preparing to embark on a new journey with Simply Splinting.

The need for practical courses for newly qualified therapists to learn, experiment and explore splinting the hand in a supportive learning environment has inspired us to share our knowledge and experience.

Simply Splinting aims to provide guidance and facilitation in conquering splint fabrication for qualified occupational therapists. Our course training focuses on knowledge, skill and confidence building. Hand therapy is fascinating and rewarding, but it can be equally daunting when you feel out of your depth. Our growing interest in teaching and the value of mutual learning has encouraged us to develop this exciting workshop further.
